Hornistic? You could have called it Horn-tastic!
I wasn’t at all familiar with Appalachia, but I like it. Haunting in places, and it shows off a little bit of everything. I listened to this piece on a solo hike in WV at the New River Gorge. A fog was just lifting, which was the perfect backdrop for this piece.
I’ve always liked Horn-Lokk, and I enjoyed your interpretation. Bravo!
Ah, the Mozart! Beautiful! It is obvious that you know this piece inside and out, and that you’ve studied natural horn extensively. I especially love your slow movement - so musical! Wonderful phrasing.
